 | Wine Shelf 01.2006 - USA This shelf is ceated from vacuum formed plywood layers that bend to accommodate three wine bottles and six wine glasses. The design tries to explore the bending limits of plywood one fraction short of its point of rupture. | | Stool 01.2006 - USA This plywood stool explores possibilities of assembly whilst avoiding any connections that need glue reinforcing. It is an assembly of flat pieces that create an array of objects that can hold their shape in space through balance. | | Steel Lounge Chair 04.2007 - USA This lounge chair is created from lazer cut steel which was then rolled into curves and held together by high power magnets. It explores the capability of steel to bend to accommodate the human body and of friction connections to create some bounce when the chair is engaged. | | Chair-Table 05.2007 - USA This chair/table was created with two vacuum formed plywood flaps and upholstered cushions that spin around a wooden dowel which transfom it from one function to the next. This object intends to explore moving connections without using metal fasteners. | |
